About Us

Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Brier Creek Pet Hotel was founded in 2007 by Adriano Rocha. With the assistance of Dr. Lisa Sarvas, he purchased Reedy Creek Kennels. Reedy Creek was a successful boarding kennel in the Raleigh-Durham airport region for the past 2 decades. The excited new owners began to immediately revamp the existing kennels and business to cater to the devoted pet owner who demands high quality service and care for their pets. At that time, the business name was changed to Brier Creek Pet Hotel, after the local Brier Creek reservoir.

Adriano, originally from Brazil, is a successful, professional dog handler of top show dogs. He has shown top-winning Briards, Bichons, Poodles, Schnauzers as well as other breeds. He continues to compete throughout the USA and internationally.

Lisa, originally from Canada, is a veterinarian with a special interest in reproductive services. She shows and breeds miniature schnauzers and giant schnauzers in her spare time.

We are proud supporters and volunteers for Giant Schnauzer and Miniature Schnauzer rescue.  Lisa has also been elected to serve on the the American Miniature Schnauzer Club Board of Directors and Health Committee.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
